It's anti-hungarianistic moderation...

To be honest, I am a little confused about what is allowed and what isn't.

I know I for one have posted images revealing the anatomy without censorship being enforced. Is there a rule that if the art is dated pre-20th century, it is allowed?

I cannot use the "quote" with image in it...
It is from Kalocsa, (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈkɒloʧɒ]) which is one of the oldest towns in Hungary. The present archbishopric, founded about 1135, is a development of a bishopric said to have been founded in 1000 by King Stephen the Saint.

This is not widely known information, the embroidery pattern is.
Googling "kalocsai minta" (motif of Kalocsa) or "kalocsa embroidery" gives You a lot.
Among others, it was planned to use on the overalls of Hamilton and Button.

by the way as a child, I used to learn to stitch. I have (somewhere in the boxes...) the two small overlay I made. One of cross-stitched, the other is filled (flat?) type, of Kalocsa...

Oooh... So You can use images? You are a fortunate one!

My wullffmorgenthaler caricatures rewarded me the banning of images.

Ludwigm!

This is so great. I'm going to look into this. Why, oh why, did the mean board mods have to disable you?

The boundary between the "three T" is not drawn here - as it never was in socialist era.
search the source... wrote:During 40 years of Communism in Hungary, Hungarians were used to telling themselves that there were exactly three types of feedback one could get from those who were in power. The Communist dictatorship was referred to as the system of three Ts. There was tiltás (being banned), tűrés (being tolerated) and támogatás (being supported).

Hungarians used to tell me about this laughingly, sort of as if they were proud to have figured this out: it was a very witty thing to recognize about the Communist system. It was witty because it took notice of the fact that, besides the “you mustn’t” and the “you must“, there existed a “do what you want.” Hungarians were giddy about being granted this third option, even though the whole thing smacked of a servile attitude. When you cast it as one of only three options to which you are limited by those governing you, even the “do what you want” is an order – not even close to the freedom to do what one wants.

The artists - of any kind - wrote, painted, formed, in general created works to map the boundaries. Some of them passed, most of them was impounded.
Then, all should learn the lines.
