A list of Paul Ryan's Legislative Accomplishments

Post by _MeDotOrg »

1. In 2000, changed the name of the post office on 1818 Milton Ave. in Janesville, Wisconsin to the "Les Aspin Post Office Building".

2. In 2008, amended the Internal Revenue Code to impose a 39-cent tax per arrow shaft, instead of a 12.4 percent tax on the sales price. The bill also included points suitable for use with arrows in the 11 percent excise tax on arrow parts and accessories.

By the way, this is not a list of SOME of the legislation that he is authored that has passed. This is ALL of it. Hard to choose which one is more monumental.

Wow, he's been busy.
He needs to slow down or he'll have blood pressure problems.

by the way, for the kids out there, Les Aspin was a Democratic US Representative who opposed the Vietnam War and who would later served as Bill Clinton's Sec. of Defense.
