Can't comment on Dexter, but I'll try my best with any other non election topic!

I'm a Dexter fan, but too cheap to subscribe to Showtime. Fortunately, by the time the DVDs come out I've usually forgotten most of the spoilers I've read.
Now, if you want to talk about the Doctor Who mid-season finale ....

Dexter? What the heck is Dexter. Tell me about it. I need a new series to watch on Netflix.

Dexter is a Showtime drama series about a serial killer who stalks and murders other murderers (though, over the course of six completed seasons, his victims have also included one pedophile and two men who were aggressive jerks but not murderers). The title character maintains cover as a friendly lab geek by day, working as a blood spatter analyst for Miami Metro Homicide. At night he goes about his extracurricular activities. Though he tries to only target murderers, he kills out of a compulsive need to kill, not out of an effort to better society.
Unfortunately, if you want to see it on Netflix, you'll have to order the discs. It is not available on streaming. It is my favorite TV show that is still running, and I think it is well worth it.
I thought this was one of their better trailers over the seasons:

Where are the comments plugging the show Copper from the BBC? Put down your Starbuck cup and smell the afternoon tea.

My best friend named her dog Dexter in honor of the show. Fortunately the pooch does not share most of his namesake's proclivities for dealing with humans he doesn't like.
But his blood spatter analysis is the best I've seen for a 3 year old Maltese-Poodle.

I love Dexter, but it's too violent for my wife's taste.

OK...just resubscribed to Showtime today, and caught the premier episode.
Wow! I am hooked again!
I really thought that Dexter had found a way out with Deb, but that last scene gave me shivers.
What do you think she'll do? And do you think she will reveal her true feelings for him, if they still exist after all of this?
And then there is the blood slide. I am curious as to how Dexter is going to get out of that one.
ETA--Also, what is the deal with jack ass creepy guy who canceled Dexter's bank account? What do you want to bet he ends up on Dexter's table before too long.
