Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum made a bit of news this weekend, declaring that “we will never have the elite, smart people on our side" at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C.

I was so entertained by that remark I was tempted to make it my sig line. But I hope to have enough self control to stop talking politics after the election.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Context, context. He was obviously being facetious. Notice he said "schmart" not smart.
