Todd Akin is one of the worst politicians I have ever come across, and apparently not the brightest bulb in the pack. But WTF? How is he only 2 points behind McCaskill?

Akin has gone on to say that Planned Parenthood performs abortions on women who are not pregnant, and that requiring equal pay for equal work for women impinges on 'economic freedom'.

Here's one of my personal favorites: Imagine you're watching the Gubernatorial debates in Arizona. Here's the winning candidate, Jan Brewer's opening statement.

Brings to mind Laurel Clark. She started professional life as a pediatrician, but that was not challenging enough. She then joined the Navy and became an Undersea Medical Officer, working on submarines and diving with the Navy Seals.

Finding all that a little dull, she became a Navy Flight Surgeon and a Navy Pilot. Still not stimulated enough, she applied to Nasa and was accepted as an Astronaut. All the while being a wife and mother.

She died on her first space flight when Columbia disintegrated on re entry.

Todd Akin is probably correct though. She was just a woman and was most likely overpaid.

No it doesn't. She was way behind in the polls until this incident and he's caught up even though the GOP cut him loose. Like any Democrat, she's got nothing positive to offer.
