Same with ammo. Expect another ammo shortage if Obama wins.

The weird thing is that Obama hasn't proposed any significant gun legislation that I'm aware of. Maybe ACORN is stocking up for the big putsch after the election.

Infowars wrote:In the aftermath of this summer’s ‘Batman massacre’, gun sales in some areas of the country spiked by almost 50 per cent.

Yes, more guns in movie theaters could have prevented this tragedy. If we only had a little more gasoline, we could put out this fire.

Memo to Glenn Beck: If Obama wins, consider marketing a Ted Nugent semi-automatic sampler pack for Christmas.

I had sworn in my wrath to arm myself in 2008. Didn't do it. Will recommit if Obama gets a second term.

One so armed, trained, and committed in their proper usage, yes. Could have stopped it cold.

I consider the likelihood that I'll need a gun in the next four years to be the same whether Obama wins or Romney wins, and I consider my ability to get that gun (here in California) to be the same as well.

More gun sales for our many compounds here in Utah will mean a boost for the economy, unless they choose to buy illegal weapons imported from North Korea or Iran in order to bypass state taxes and remain their own sovereign nations.

Perhaps you should Google "Fast and Furious ATF gunwalking"
which does coincide with the notion that the only gun legislation signed by him is easily an "expansion of rights".

I honestly don't what you mean. What gun legislation is easily an 'expansion of rights'?

aside form Obama stating, publicly, that he does not support "new gun laws" and The Brady Campaign graded Obama with an "F" - the most obvious example is the one i stated...often referred to as "Fast and Furious"...gun rights were expanded clear into Mexico.
But he did sign the law allowing guns in National Parks and on Trains.

I think we're trying to make the same point. The point of the original article quoted by bcspace seems to be that people are buying guns because they fear another Obama term because he will be taking away their gun rights. My point is that given Obama's record (or lack of record) on gun legislation, fearing that he will take away our gun's is an irrational fear.

From a strictly pragmatic point of view, with all of the budget and tax battles he will have if he gets a second term, stricter gun laws are going to WAY down on his to-do list, even if he were so inclined.
