which does coincide with the notion that the only gun legislation signed by him is easily an "expansion of rights".

aside form Obama stating, publicly, that he does not support "new gun laws" and The Brady Campaign graded Obama with an "F" - the most obvious example is the one i stated...often referred to as "Fast and Furious"...gun rights were expanded clear into Mexico.
But he did sign the law allowing guns in National Parks and on Trains.

I think we're trying to make the same point. The point of the original article quoted by bcspace seems to be that people are buying guns because they fear another Obama term because he will be taking away their gun rights. My point is that given Obama's record (or lack of record) on gun legislation, fearing that he will take away our gun's is an irrational fear.

From a strictly pragmatic point of view, with all of the budget and tax battles he will have if he gets a second term, stricter gun laws are going to WAY down on his to-do list, even if he were so inclined.
