To BCSpace: Civil War II?

BCSpace,
In the thread 12 AM Election Day, you implied that your allegiance to the Republican Party is greater than your allegiance to the Constitution and to the United States. You said that the time for peaceful acceptance of Democrats is long past. You clarified that the subtext of what you were saying is war.
If Barack Obama gets more votes in the Electoral College, he is the president of the United States of America. That’s the Constitutional reality. Threatening to go to war if your side doesn’t win is seditious.
So what would be the aim of your war? To overthrow the Constitutionally-elected government and install a right-wing dictator? Or are you suggesting that if Obama wins, the blue states ought to resign their membership in the United States and form a new Confederacy, Abraham Lincoln and the pledge of allegiance be damned?

I implied no such thing. However, Republicans are much closer to the Constitution than the Democrats who make war on it.
You said that the time for peaceful acceptance of Democrats is long past.
Yes, in terms of Honorenthos' definition of peace which implies just accepting the outcome, even if the Democrats win, and just "go home".
You clarified that the subtext of what you were saying is war.
Yes. This is the spiritual battle referred to by the scriptures. The wicked are now firmly represented by the Democratic party (and anyone to the left of them). It is no longer possible to be a supporter of righteousness by voting a Democrat, ignorant or otherwise.

I don't think it will have got to the point of a shooting war if Obama is the President on Wednesday.
I do believe we are headed in this direction no matter who wins this year. Especially if the results are close and we have multiple recounts or a tied electoral college. Then I believe you'll see rioting in the streets. You're far more likely to see this from the liberals if Romney wins than from conservatives if Obama wins. A second Obama term brings us closer faster than a Romney term because of Obama's and the Democrat's tyrannical socialism.

The world will not come to an end if Obama is re-elected. This apocalyptic stuff is silly.

You most certainly did.
Honorentheos said in the OP “
regardless of the outcome I hope I could be proud to be part of this great country and - whatever my differences with his views - recognize him as the President of the American people. Democrat or Republican, we're all American's first.”
You replied, "
Ridiculous." Thinking we're all American's first and recognizing the winner as the President is called allegiance to the Constitution. Taking issue what that is clearly seditious.
Just to allow you to clarify your position:
1- If Obama wins the election, will you recognize him as the president of the United States?
2- Where is your highest loyalty? To the Constitution or to the Republican Party?
3- Do you believe that Democrat or Republican, we are all Americans first?
4- If a group of red states wanted to rebel and form their onw Confederacy because they didn’t like the fact that president Obama was reelected, would go to war to defend the Union, or would you join the rebellion?

Why would you want stop us if we did? Maybe both sides would be happier.

What I implied is that Democrats are no longer American in any traditional, moral, or rational sense.

So if the president of the United States isn't American in
any traditional, moral, or rational sense, would you or would you not support the Constitution that elected him? Would you fight a literal war against the regime that put as president somebody who isn't an American in
any traditional, moral, or rational sense?

Personally, I'd be inclined to say don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

I'm a conservative, and bcspace doesn't speak for me. When our parties and candidates lose elections, we don't take the ball and go home. We work to change minds. I am sick and tired of people on both sides who have nothing but hate and contempt for those who differ from them ideologically. I am thankful that the zealots are the (noisy) minority.
