Fasting, prayers and sacrifice all in vain!

It is over. 4 more years of Pres. Obama. What does this mean for the faithful? God doesn't like Mormons? No fulfillment of the white horse? Or perhaps we can spin this as a way of hastening the second coming.

Why would such have been in vain? Where is it stated that the White Horse prophecy is doctrine?

Definitely in vain. I can't remember ever feeling so hopeless in my life. Bad times ahead, very bad times.

I'm not sure what a person who prays to God for a Romney election victory understands themselves to be asking for. God to change people's mind? Prevent people from being able to vote? Set up conditions that lead to people changing their mind?
In any case, gay marriage is winning currently in all four states it was on the ballot. Team Mormon is taking a beating here.

It's unlikely God will stop people from exercising their agency. In this case, the people have chosen evil....again. The scriptures predict it will get worse. We are on the way.

Great call SteelHead! Of course, it was the logical conclusion, but still.

With confirmation bias it is heads god wins, tails god wins. It is always part of his "higher purpose".

Doesn't exist with me. It's obviously against God's stated purposes that the Democrats win.
