Rat meat.

I choose Chinese restaurants instead.

And, what was it called? Iceberg? But we'd go there for shakes not hamburgers.

ICEBERG!!!

But for a shot time there was a place across from it called The Blue Dot. That was the drive in my childhood dreams: not hamburgers but footlongs and fresh limeade.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that the quality of burgers has sadly gone into the dumpster since I was a kid. I even remember McDonald's being much better when they were just 'the new place'.

To find a decent hamburger these days one has to go to a specialty restaurant. The best I've found so far is 'Haven Gastropub' in the City of Orange (So Cal).

They only have one version on their extensive menu, but it's the best I've had in many years.

They also have the largest selection of beers I've seen anywhere and their shepherd's pie is the best I've tasted outside my own (bragging).
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

You and I must be neighbors! Thanks schreech, I will check them both out.

I also have plans to try Umami Burger when I get a chance. I hear it's very good. I have tried "Smash Burger" as well, not bad. I tried 'Five Guys' recently. A good burger, but I didn't care for the ambiance.

I'm still searching for the best fish and chips. I come from England originally and I would love to find some that were as good.
