As of this evening, I am done. Done I say. No more tests, papers, late nights, no life. DONE.
It's taken me seven years of one or two classes at night, and what do I get? An AS in General Studies. DONE!
So done.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEWyTqy_0LgHere is the translation: (sorry, google one...)
Never say that now
We are beyond everything.
Never say that there is no longer for me.
There is always new and fresh, then wait for a miracle,
But never say no more.
Never say that now
We are beyond everything.
There can be no new life suddenly.
Never say it's over, I do not care,
In addition to everything it all comes out.
| |: Do not tell me it's over,
I'm just saying it's all worth it.
And if it was worth it, come to a point
What do you have to say, oh, tell me! : | |
Never say that now
We are beyond everything.
Never say that there is no longer for me.
There is always new and fresh, then wait for a miracle,
But never say no more.by the way she is an actress - not a singer...

Maddy, with your hungry mind, never say never.

But you aren't done; this is just the beginning, as I'm sure you'll be reminded in the commencement address...

Thanks all. It is a great feeling.
I'm not a 20 something with 40+ years of work ahead of me. I have about 15 years to retirement. I have a good career that pays well. I'm having a hard time seeing the financial benefit. But, I do like learning new stuff, which is why I started going to the community college in the first place. Took a bunch of classes that I wanted to take. Enjoyed it, saved the classes that I had no interest in to last, which has been so very hard to maintain any sort of motivation. Not to mention, the texts and professors gear the material towards 20-somethings who have no to little experience in the world. Give me meat not milk.
If I were 20-something, I'd switch careers and go into the biological sciences. Can't see starting over at this point. I did apply to two universities and have been accepted to both. One with a nice scholarship that still won't cover even half of the cost (private college, Westminster).
My dream would be to quit working and just get it done. Could do it in 1 1/2 years. but the dear hubby just had his hours cut back. So, maybe by fall I could be a full time student. If not, I'll see where life takes me/us. :)
