Democratic Party Allies Overseas Weigh in on Another Issue

Great news, Iranian President and infamous madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes the United States should have more gun control.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rapped the US for its profiteering policies on gun control, and called on the country to fundamentally review its policies which serve the material interests of a certain group, but have destructive effects on the American society.
President Ahmadinejad Sunday night sent a message of condolence to the US over the killing of 28 people, including 20 children, in the Friday shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
"Is it not time to seriously and carefully look for the cause of such stunning violent acts and to fundamentally reconsider the policies and plans that are devised based on the material interests and profiteering ambitions of a certain group and which have various destructive effects on the society and particularly innocent children and youths," Ahmadinejad in his message.
"The bitter memory of the Colorado cinema shooting and other killing frenzies in this country is still fresh in the memories of the public, but the occurrence of another incident, which is much more terrible, has increased concerns about the continuation of this trend and attracted world public attention to causes of such bitter incidents in American society," he added.
When Ahmadinejad stops funneling weapons to terrorist group Hamas to kill Israeli children and when he stops building up Iran's nuclear program so he can wipe Israel and the United States off the map, then I'll take his condolences seriously. Not to mention, you know who else really like gun control? Particularly when it came to the Jews? Hitler.
In response to the deportations, on July 28, 1942, several Jewish underground organizations created an armed self-defense unit known as the Jewish Combat Organization(Zydowska Organizacja Bojowa; ZOB). Rough estimates put the size of the ZOB at its formation at around 200 members. The Revisionist Party (right-wing Zionists known as the Betar) formed another resistance organization, the Jewish Military Union (Zydowski Zwiazek Wojskowy; ZZW). Although initially there was tension between the ZOB and the ZZW, both groups decided to work together to oppose German attempts to destroy the ghetto. At the time of the uprising, the ZOB had about 500 fighters in its ranks and the ZZW had about 250. While efforts to establish contact with the Polish military underground movement (Armia Krajowa, or Home Army) did not succeed during the summer of 1942, the ZOB established contact with the Home Army in October, and obtained a small number of weapons, mostly pistols and explosives, from Home Army contacts.
