I'm no artist, but I believe the correct answer is "the paper".

I think I might skip the glitter, but I would love to paint the Wasatch mountains covered in snow. Including mount Olympus (just for Nightlion).

I used to do that on the window of my apartment when I first moved to LA (snow covered pines in the foreground). My landlord wanted to replace my window and keep it. I washed it off before he had the chance to actually do it.

Awesome!

Do you paint, Zeez? I'd love to see some of your art some time.

I'm a beginner, Bret. I have no training in it as my background is all very math oriented. My grandmother was a nice painter - mostly oil. My mom also used to paint years ago.

My grandmother used to paint nudes and we (grandkids) used to snicker about how it made sense that she was inactive since only inactive members would feel okay painting nudes, lol.

This was my attempt at watercolors a couple weeks ago. Don't laugh. It is just doodling. I was trying out different shades by adding more and more pigment - starting light and going darker.

I started copying a painting (maybe you recognize it? - Sandro Botticelli - Primavera) here:

I would like to actually paint it someday.

Might refurbish my Angel Moroni Christmas tree topper.

I rather like that -- the different shades certainly add an interesting depth to the image. I think this is quite good, actually.

I wasn't familiar with it, so I Googled it. I think it's interesting that you started with the second figure from the left -- I think most folks would be inclined to start with the central figure. I think I can see why you started with her, though -- such an interesting face.

I would like to actually paint it someday.

I hope you do. I don't have an artistic bone in my body, but admire those with the talent. Thanks for sharing these images; I hope we'll get to see more in the future.

Thank you!

I think this drawing by Berni Fuchs is amazing.
