Looking For MDB Chefs!

What's up good and precious people?

Mrs. Ceeboo and I went to a restaurant the other night and I ordered a Filet Mignon (one of my most favorite things on this earth!).

Anyway, this was a new place for us and when my fabulous steak arrived - it was plated with what our waitress called "zip" sauce on the side.

It was AWESOME!!!!!

As best I could guess (our waitress would not tell me how it was made. Perhaps she simply didn't know?) it seemed to be some kind of combination of melted butter, garlic (maybe roasted?), and something green (Maybe parsley/basil?).

Looking for a recipe to do this at home.

Anybody want to share their secret/recipe/experience?

Also - Do you have a good recipe for making a dry rub for steaks?

Thanks a bunch!

Peace,
Ceeboo

I am no chef, but Google is. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/kims-zippy-sauce/ Looks a bit more complicated than your description.

Here is what I made last night:
Roast beast and turkey grinder with swiss on a French roll, mustard based sauce and homemade chips, with pickle.
