This Cop killer story is a very huge news story here in Southern California.

Welcome again to bcspaceworld, where a few anti-government pro-gun folks constitute "the left." We now return you to the real world. Thanks for your patience.

Yup. Yet again, as with the Trayvon Martin case, "no pressure," and so many other cultural landmarks over the decades, the Left, when it feels itself going from strength to strength and from victory to victory with minimal effective opposition, rips its mask off in public in more overt ways the longer its ascendency continues.
There will be more - much more - to come.

CFR (the return of radical chic of the kind surrounding the Black Panthers in the late sixties/early seventies regarding Mr. Dorner is sick and perverse, but not at all unlikely or unaccountable given the Left's present preeminence in the political world and domination of the institutions of society, and most especially the academy and news media).
A cursory look, over the last 40 years or so, at the left's other cultural heroes and icons leaves no doubt as to the value Dorner has for them, collectively speaking, as an ideological face in a much larger totem.

Don't blame Bcspace for this, he was simply the first to post it. It was from the
Right Thinking Talking Points List and was offered as a posting suggestion. They alone are responsible for convoluting information, not Bcspace.

I don't know if we can ascribe a particular political leaning to this, but there is some noise being made in support for Dorner's cause (or at least protest the way law enforcement handled the situation):
Dozens of protesters rallied outside LAPD headquarters Saturday in support of Dorner, most saying they didn't support his deadly methods but did believe Dorner's claims of racism and unfair treatment.
Protester Andrea Tovar, 18, told the Los Angeles Times that police need to know "they can't get away with everything."
"Murder is never right, but neither is the law when it's unjust," Tovar said.
Dorner also has some support in social media. The "We Stand With Christopher Dorner" Facebook page had drawn more than 27,000 "likes," and the "I Support Christopher Jordan Dorner" page has more than 16,000. Some backers have also appeared on Twitter.
