** [edit] And of course, let's not forget their egregious efforts to change the electoral system so that their presidential candidates can win a state even while losing that state by a substantial margin. Stupid liberals.

What's ironic is that many of these state leaders were elected ONLY because of gerrymandering.
Other than noting that irony, this sounds like it's describing the tactic of the tea party in congress. They can't win on issues, so they filibuster obsessively.
This article is proof positive that the tea party right is absolutely oblivious to reality.

Well, thank Jeebus I have true friends like you, who will point out how this "caring about the rights of the Poors" outfit makes my butt look fat. We all need to be reminded sometimes about the natural slimming properties of disenfranchisement, of how our Inspired Founding Fathers intended that the only people who deserve the right to vote are white men who own land (certainly not people who have never had a reason — or the means — to drive a car or travel abroad).
