I just heard this last night on Mark Levine's radio show. Why do blue states and cities with such "strict" gun control laws not bother to enforce the laws on the books? I guess making new laws wins elections. Choosing to enforce those laws or not is a completely separate issue.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
