Hey BJB... thanks for the reply. No, al Qaida did not do it and it isn't even a legitimate middle-east terrorist organization like we've been told... it was created by our own CIA in 1989 as a front organization to justify CIA covert ops. And bin Laden actually died in December, 2001 from kidney and lung complications, not last year in the so-called 'raid' where a bunch of seals found him defeneless in a Pakistani home and then dumped his body at sea for a 'proper Muslim burial' (when he allegedly killed 3,000 people in New York) with no Sailors even witnessing his body being dumped into the ocean. Afghanistan's former PM Benazir Bhutto announced on state TV in 2006 that bin Laden died in December, 2001 and that they had a funeral and everything for him and expressed her desire to know why the U.S. was still 'hunting' him when they knew it- 3 months later, she was assassinated. OK, here's a summation of the events of 9/11... for those unaware of the truth, this will be hard to swallow and highly disturbing:
On September 11, 2001, our nation woke up to breaking news of the World Trade Center towers having been struck by airliners in an apparent terrorist attack on our country. Our initial reaction was one of shock and disbelief… who would do this to us? And why? Since that fateful day over 11 years ago, the truth about the events of 9/11 have emerged in the form of facts, incriminating scientific evidence, broken laws of physics, amazing coincidences and motives that paint a far different picture about what happened and why, the implications of which are dark for America. Given what we now know thanks to the efforts of many in pursuit of the truth, we can provide a brief summary of the facts that we, as Americans, need to be aware of as we make decisions for ourselves and families in a day and age when secret combinations and conspiring men rule with impunity.
In 1997, a think-tank was created in Washington, DC called the Project for a New American Century. It consisted primarily of individuals who would later become members of the Bush administration, such as Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz. The ultimate goal of this think tank was to find a way to drastically increase military spending in an effort to begin American imperialism by forcefully taking over middle eastern nations which were incapable of defending themselves that were rich in natural resources, primarily oil, natural gas and valuable ores. The resultant defense contracts would reap billions for the companies these men had financial ties to both directly and indirectly. In their defining document, created in September of 2000, they indicated that “the process of transformation is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic or catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor”. One year later, they would seize upon an opportunity.
The twin towers had become aging dinosaurs, condemned structures and financial liabilities for its owner, the New York Port Authority. They were full of asbestos and antiquated beyond renovation. Just after the towers had been completed in 1971, the use of asbestos in fireproofing buildings had become outlawed owing to its toxicity to humans. In the late '90's, the city of Manhattan mandated asbestos abatement in all buildings. It was going to cost over $2 billion to have all the asbestos removed from the twin towers while they were already losing money in rented office space and decreased tourism to the area. The New York Port Authority tried on three occasions to obtain a permit to have them demolished but were denied each time because of the asbestos and many other toxic chemicals that would have been released into the air and owing to the extreme height of the buildings, with their demolition resulting in major damage or complete destruction to other surrounding structures.
In the spring of 2001, the New York Port Authority sold the World Trade Center complex lease to billionaire tycoon Larry Silverstein who subsequently took out a massive multi-billion dollar insurance policy against terrorist attack. The sale of the buildings to Mr. Silverstein took a massive liability off the books of the New York Port Authority. Approximately five months later, on September 11, 2001, two planes struck both towers acting as the cover for the buildings' demolitions. Mr. Silverstein's asbestos-laden financial liabilities were now gone and instead of having to fork over $2+ billion to have them asbestos-free, he walked away with $4.5 billion in insurance money on a $350 million investment, a 1,500% return on his money.
Mr. Silverstein had domestic and international political connections. Scientists eventually discovered a very high-tech military-grade incendiary/explosive called nano-thermate (along with thermite) in dust samples which were initially sent to Dr. Steven Jones by tenants in New York City who had saved some of the dust from the destruction of the buildings. Dr. Jones was a physics professor from Brigham Young University at the time and the dust samples went under examination using sophisticated electron microscopy. His scientific findings were then corroborated by many of his colleagues such as Dr. Jeffrey Farrer, a BYU professor of physics and astronomy and Dr. Neils Harrit of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Nano-thermate cuts through steel like a hot knife through butter and is extremely powerful as an explosive, about 10X moreso than C4 or RDX and the thermite applied to the corner columns to weaken the structures prior to being blown to kingdom come (in order to help the buildings disintegrate symmetrically) produced temperatures as high as 4,000 degrees which is quite enough to liquefy steel such as what was witnessed pouring out of the south tower before its demise and under the rubble pile which lasted for weeks. The substance was determined as the culprit for the destruction of the buildings, however, it is only manufactured in highly specialized U.S. or Israeli defense weapons laboratories – not from a cave in Afghanistan.
Building 7, which came down around 5:00 PM that night in controlled demolition fashion, housed thousands of investigative SEC case files involving massive crimes ranging from fraud and extortion to money-laundering and racketeering involving Washington, DC, the big banks and Wall Street, with the Enron and WorldCom scandals being just the tip of the iceberg. Had many or all of the cases gone public, it could have brought down the entire establishment. Its destruction ensured all the investigations disappeared and there is growing consensus and speculation that building 7 was used to conduct the 9/11 operation in New York and so that evidence had to be destroyed as well. Furthermore, it is widely held in the 9/11 truth community that flight 93 was meant to strike building 7 in downtown New York in order to justify its demolition as well, but when the passengers rushed the cockpit and managed to compromise its mission, it was shot down (there is plenty of evidence for this as well).
In addition, war-games were going on that morning simulating the very attacks that were ongoing in real life, which confused many of the radar personnel and other defense entities since no one was sure what was real and what was part of the exercise(s). Tripod II and Vigilant Guardian were two of them which allowed the planes to reach their targets since the exercises had sent the interceptors into Canada for over 90 minutes and none other than Dick Cheney was in command of NORAD that morning from a bunker who issued a stand down order which allowed the Pentagon to be hit. A civilian had never before been in control of the military except on that morning.
At the Pentagon, the section that was struck housed Auditors and Accountants who were investigating $2.3 trillion dollars that former Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld announced on September 10, 2001 had gone missing and unaccounted for. The attack destroyed all of the records, case files, computers and servers involved in the investigation and killed most of the individuals overseeing the investigation who would have had knowledge of what had happened to the missing funds.
Ultimately, the United States military-industrial complex got a blank check going for itself in the form of no-bid defense contracts for firms with ties to so-called neo-cons in the Bush administration and it gave Washington, DC a reason to begin cracking down on our freedoms in an attempt to transform the U.S. into a fascist police state where government, financial institutions and large corporations rule with no regard for the law or Constitution. bin Laden, the alleged mastermind of 9/11, used to be a CIA asset during the Russian-Afghan war back in 1989 and his family had been in the oil/defense contracting business with the Bush family. Furthermore, the profits derived from opium production in Afghanistan (which are funneled through the CIA to Wall Street and the streets of America) had decreased by over 90% under Taliban rule and they had refused the United States government permission to construct the Trans-Afghan oil and gas pipeline through their territory. The invasion in late 2001 thanks to 9/11 ensured that both of these problems would be solved.
So that's it... 9/11 in a nutshell.
