A prominent pastor was allegedly disinvited from speaking at Morehouse College’s baccalaureate service this week after he criticized President Barack Obama, who will deliver the school’s commencement address.
The Rev. Kevin Johnson, a Morehouse alumnus and the senior pastor of Bright Hope Baptist Church in North Philadelphia, Pa., wrote an opinion column earlier this month in the Philadelphia Tribune accusing Obama of neglecting the black community in his cabinet picks–they’re overwhelmingly white–and broader political agenda.
The day after the article ran, Johnson said, Morehouse President John Silvanus Wilson, Jr. phoned to express reservations about his “untimely” comments regarding President Obama. Johnson asked administrators to honor their invitation, but learned days later he had been replaced by three alternate speakers.
Now, a group of two dozen pastors who lead churches across the country are demanding Morehouse re-invite Johnson.
“If President Wilson turns his back on one of our most distinguished alums because of an exercise of free speech and political commentary, he will have set Morehouse on a dangerous course and departed from the great tradition bequeathed to us,” Rev. Dr. Amos Brown of the Third Baptist Church in San Francisco, Ca. told East Atlanta Patch, which aggregated the comments of other outraged alums.

“In brief, I extended an invitation to a distinguished alumnus to speak at our upcoming baccalaureate service. I subsequently made a decision to adjust the format of the baccalaureate program and opted for a more creative, multi-speaker approach that is used by many leading institutions....
...He was not disinvited, but rather declined to participate in the format.""subsequently made a decision"?....purely coincidental...he was going to change the format anyway...it was going to be a surprise...but now it is ruined.

This kind of linguistic flim flam is standard on the Left and within government whenever they're caught red-handed perpetrating their own bigotry, shutting down debate, censoring discourse, or trying to ensure an echo-chamber environment for themselves in all the venues they control, or think they control.
Everything not leaning or moving toward the Right moves toward the Left, and the Left, left to itself, has no brakes or rational, outer limits at which point enough is ever enough.

<crickets>
For those who didn't follow the link, the decision of Morehouse College's President Wilson is being challenged by (drumroll) highly educated liberals. But honestly -- anyone with a basic understanding of academia and
real liberal thinking should have anticipated a high probability of such a reaction.
The story has developed in a direction that doesn't fit neatly into a cartoon Left vs. Right worldview and there is no comment from the usual suspects. Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you flee.

so really the only problem is when a Liberal is in charge or has power.

Yeah, cuz God only knows those liberal academicians never have disagreements with Conservatives in authority.
But rather than let you change the subject, I will remind you that the purpose of the OP was to demonstrate that liberals are intolerant of opposing viewpoints. Would it cause you actual physical pain to admit that the cited example has evolved into an inconvenient data point?
