Michigan mom wants Anne Frank's 'pornographic' diary censored from her daughter's school reading list

A Michigan parent wants parts of Anne Frank's prolific diary banned from her daughter's classroom.

Gail Horalek of Northville is upset over Frank's references to her own genitalia in the diary. She says the passages made her daughter uncomfortable and that the school should have requested parental permission before assigning it to students.

'It's pretty graphic, and it's pretty pornographic for seventh-grade boys and girls to be reading,' Horalek told the Detroit's Fox affiliate. 'It's inappropriate for a teacher to be giving this material out to the kids when its really the parents' job to give the students this information.'

The specific passages that upset Horalek's daughter involve Frank's discovery of her vagina.
'There are little folds of skin all over the place, you can hardly find it,' the passage reads. 'The little hole underneath is so terribly small that I simply can't imagine how a man can get in there, let alone how a whole baby can get out!'

...

Horalek is not the first to complain about Anne Frank's diary.

The American Library Association has received half a dozen challenges against the book in the last two decades and Culpepper County Public Schools in Virginia stopped assigning the unabridged version three years ago after a parent complained.

There are other gooood books

I must point out two historical inaccuracies on this book cover:

1. The dinosaur is holding a copy of the Bible with a cross on its cover. This would suggest that the dinosaurs were alive after the birth of Christ. Everyone knows that the last dinosaur died in 35 b.c., just after Fred Flinstone submitted his highly autobiographical first script treatment about a town called Bedrock.

2. The dinosaur is wearing pink talon polish. Everyone knows that Mesozoic Era reptiles preferred a hotter, metallic cinnamon shade.

clearly this Dinosaur is one of the ones found in Jurassic Park

a side effect from having your DNA extracted from Amber....it dulls the cinnamon shade...besides everyone knows that T-Rex loved the tropics.

You joke, but I've learned from apologists that the Book of Mormon must be historical because that is what it claims to be. The Flintstones also claim they are a "page right out of history", so logic demands that they are also historical.

Else they are fictional as is the case.

We must censor the normal discoveries/questions of a girl, who was ultimately, sent to her death without ever knowing or experiencing the answers.
