5-year-old Interrogated By School Over Toy Cap Gun Until He Wet Himself With Fear

http://www.infowars.com/5-year-old-inte ... with-fear/

On a personal note. When my oldest was around 8 or so he drew a "gun" in class and passed it to a class mate and the liberal teacher made a federal case out of it, sending him to the Principal, calling us his parents, and accused him of "making threats" etc.

I was livid hearing the facts, the perfectly innocent action, thing that kids do.
Unfortunately my family was being lost at the time, so I had bigger issues, otherwise I would have taken it to the news.

The public school zero tolerance policies that caused this are a consequence of a coalition between tough on crime conservatives and nanny state liberals. While these stories are far too common, to put them at the feet of liberals specifically deeply misunderstands why they exist in the first place.

No big deal. I piddle my knickers every time I see a conservative post in off topic.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I don't agree at all, you deeply misunderstand conservatives.

For example. Conservatives are environmentally conscious, we just aren't environmentally crazy.
We would not close down dozens of farms affecting thousands of jobs simply because of some endangered "mino" in the water way's those farms use to water their crops.

That's called "crazy". We also WOULD NOT persecute a child simply because they drew a picture of a gun, or brought a toy gun to school. We would simply tell them sorry, you can't have that, or that it's not appropriate to draw a gun in school.

So, don't try and place this in ANY way at conservatives. It's one thing to have rules which keep children safe, another thing to do these kinds of things which happen more and more.

This incident happened in the State of Maryland. Maryland is definitely a liberal-leaning State. The school clearly way overreacted on that little boy there.

It happened in Calvert County, which is more Republican by % than Georgia. You can't generalize in this fashion.

Ldsfaqs, I don't agree with zero tolerance policies or the related "school to prison pipeline" that drive brickbat stories like this. I just happen to recognize that the coalition of support for them includes a subgroup of conservatives. They actually derive from broken windows theory of crime, which was originated in and most strongly supported by conservative leaders. But the reason they exist all over the place is because there is a broad coalition of support between them and nanny state liberals. It's where Guliani meets Bloomberg.

You're stretching here..... There is a difference between "zero tolerance" in relation to criminal activity and zero tolerance in schools. Zero tolerance in schools is entirely an liberal phenomenum.

Conservatives are more "conservative" when it comes to human behavior, kids making mistakes, kids/people learning, etc. So in schools we are more conservative, not at all for zero tolerance. With adults however in society at large, we are certainly more for zero tolerance, because it works, and it doesn't infringe on the growth process like zero tolerance in schools might.

Further, there is a difference between "order" and rules in school, enforcing them, and micro-managing every behavior as if it's disorder or leads to it, and shouldn't be tolerated, a.k.a. zero tolerance. There is simply no correlation at all to the "extreme" reactions occurring in schools around the country, such as to this child, others mentioned in the article, and my child.

It was a liberal who attacked my child, not a conservative. And it's the same in every case like these.
For my case I know because I tested her ideology during our interview, and she fully revealed herself. I also know because I've been around conservatives for years and we simply don't think or do these things. Disciplined behavior, quality of life and pride of ones surroundings is not this fascism and abuse.

You are mixing two different things, so your judgement is wrong.

About a month ago my Mom bought my six year old son a toy gun about half the size of his hand. It was a gimmick gun that, when someone pulled the trigger, they got an electric shock. My son loved shocking people with it so he took it to school. I had no idea he did this or else I would have stopped it.

Anyway, he was suspended one day for this. He didn't cry or wet his pants, but he did enjoy his day off.

I live in Woodstock Georgia, which sometimes seems like the Tea Party center of the universe. Romney signs are still up in people's yards, the anti-Obama bumper stickers are on cars everywhere, and signs advertising the next Tea Party meeting are in front of most neighborhoods. With the exception of the airport, local businesses always play FOX News, even though CNN is based here in Atlanta. When waiting at traffic lights you can usually hear the Sean Hannity/Rush Limbaugh/Erik Erickson/Neal Boortz radio shows coming from nearby cars. In our schools and neighborhoods, whenever someone is identified as an Obama supporter, the whisper sessions begin and that person is talked about as if he/she is attempting to single-handedly implement Communism.

So to blame my son's suspension on Liberalism is laughable to me. It is the kind of idiotic mumbo jumbo we've come to expect from folks like ldsfaqs and bcspace. To their minds, everything silly/dumb/bad has to be tied to Liberalism in some convoluted way.

Contrary to popular belief Kevin, most areas that have a "dominant" party are only in fact "slightly" dominant. There are almost an equal number of liberals in that area. I lived in Augusta Georgia for a year, and it was pretty liberal.

Second, your child was using a "dangerous" toy from your description. Going around shocking people is clearly crossing a line and it's perfectly reasonable for a suspension to occur, by either a liberal or a conservative. You don't go around hurting people, that's a UNIVERSAL concept creampuff.

Third, did you actually determine if those involved were conservatives or liberals? No you didn't, so your "opinion" is crap as to what is silly/dumb/etc. being caused by liberals! Of course, in your case it wasn't silly or dumb, but appropriate, no matter who did it.

FYI.... I never blamed your sons suspension on Liberalism. You're making that false assumption, one I just debunked.
Did anyone else claim it was liberals? I doubt it, thus your straw-man is irrelevant.
