Personally, I think if Mitt had piddled in the downstairs toilet, it would legally qualify. If he pooped, it was golden. Had he taken a nap on the basement couch, no jury could convict him.

I would have voted from Massachusetts last election if I was able to. I don't like Elizabeth Warren.

What if there was no toilet in this unfinished basement? I suppose a bucket would however be as legally valid, if this residency ever happened.

I'm quite sure that if there was no toilet in the unfinished basement, Mitt would have piddled on the cement floor and had one of the many maids clean it up.
There is no price too high to pay for legal recognition. My sympathies go out to the maid if pooping was required.
