We might be in for a 2000 repeat. I hope people stay calm no matter who wins. I don't want to see militias v. Antifa here in Las Vegas or anywhere.

Incidentally, it could come down to Nevada if Trump wins PA, NC, GA and Biden wins AZ, WI, and MI.

I saw something weird on the way back in from town just now. It was on a main road where there are residential and businesses--auto sales, Walmart, restaurants, that sort of thing.

So I notice on this corner where there's a kind of field....the corner was lined with Trump flags. And on the "triangle" shaped field was a guy parked in a pick up also with Trump flags.

What the heck is that about I wonder? They waiting for the signal to start torching the place? Staging area for a protest?

The "triangle" is their Nazi symbolism. There was a Facebook scandal about it.

Hypothetically speaking...could he demand a recount of the entire country?
No. Elections are run by the states and each state has its own law and procedures. Trump can’t issue a blanket request and most states would ignore it anyway.

Can WI decline the recount he asked for?

No. Each state has its own recount law, but they require that the race be close. Wisconsin is 1%. Michigan is more squishy, something like a reasonable chance of changing the outcome. Wisconsin has had two recounts in recent memory, according to Republican ex-governor Scott Walker. One changed around 300 votes and the other around 100. Biden is ahead by 20K+

I heard it reported that he can't actually request a recount for 10 days or so -- after the official count.

Here’s a NYT resource for fact checking election-related misinformation:

Confusing press conference in DeKalb County, GA. They started the day with 140K (?) to count. They have about 30K-40K left to count. But, once scanned, they have to go to the adjudication panel before they are posted. Some have been posted, but it wasn't clear how many have gone through adjudication and been posted. Icarus, is it any clearer in the local media?

Trump's lead over the course of the day has shrunk from 60K+ to about 47K. But hard to tell how many are left to post in DeKalb and other counties. DeKalb says they will finish tonight after midnight local time.

Dunno what happened to the AZ press conference.

ETA: Maricopa press conference is 9:00 ET.

Also, Not DeKalb -- Fulton.

It was just a street corner like, you know, how you drive down a highway or main drag where there are stores and stop lights. The vehicle was very visible. Does that make it the same thing or are you messing with me? I'm not accusing you of anything. It's hard to tell from what you wrote and I hadn't heard of that before.

I thought you meant they'd actually formed a distinctive triangle. if it's a sectioned off corner, then that's not a hit.
