The Envelope Please

Black writer Mansfield Frazier has written:

So what would a fair outcome look like? To my mind, the government offers Zimmerman a plea deal that has him back on the street within this decade, and he accepts it quietly.

And why should Zimmerman, even if found innocent on the merits, face nearly a decade of hard time anyway? Because:

...If this case goes all the way to trial, it’s a train wreck waiting to happen. The time is now for strong hands to take the helm and steady the ship of state—not to mention our national racial, political and legal discourse. The paramount concern has to be to avert a large-scale racial calamity.

I now publicly nominate the following as the official theme song of the George Zimmerman trial and what it says about the present state of a critical subset of black America, the American mainstream media, and the race/poverty industry at the very center of the Trayvon Martin storm. The lyircs here, whatever their original meaning may have been, are, to say the least, apropos to what we're seeing unfold in Florida:

OK. I follow with this - it makes sense. Not the carpenter Zimmermann.
A peg to hang on... Good enough!

How do account the bish/pres for tithing envelopes? No names on them, no receipt, no nothing.
They are handed over in the foyer or in the chapel part - not in the office. They have sunk into some pockets.

OK, I know, I know, god sees our soul. Does he see our pocket?
