Tivadar Kosztka Csontváry (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈtivɒdɒr ˈkostkɒ ˈt͡ʃontvaːri];) was a Hungarian painter who was part of the avant-garde movement of the early twentieth century. Working mostly in Budapest, he was one of the first Hungarian painters to become well known in Europe.
His two well known work, "The Lonely Cedar" and "Pilgrimage to the Cedars of Lebanon" were shown at viewtopic.php?p=692966#p692966
And here is the "Old Fisherman".

The picture symbolizes that in every man there is the presence of God and Devil.
Mirroring the left side of the picture gives us an old man (god...) sitting in a boat, in the background there is a calm sea and a mountain view

The right side mirrored shows the crowned devil (in a coffin?), with erupting volcano and a dark stormy sea
