I don't think that's the "47%" he was talking about.

We clearly have a problem in this country with too many people voting. Good thing the GOPpers are doing their best to bring that number down.

The only way the Republicans win going forward is to suppress the vote or to change their message w/r/t to minority and youth interests. Old white people are dying at a clip of ~65k per month while ~100k Latinos are turning 18 every month. The electoral math isn't hard to figure out.

by the way isn't it sad that they're already talking about the 2016 election? It's like 1100 days away. :(

Although I'm excited for when Hilary beats Ted Cruz by a bigger score than Obama in 2008.

Yes, there were 131,313,820 votes cast for President back in 2008, which was the most votes cast for President ever in the history of the Unites States. There were 129,085,403 votes cast for President during the last election, which was 2,228,417 less votes cast for President compared to the 2008 election. However, there were a bit more votes votes cast for President in the battleground States of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin during the last election than there were in those States back in 2008. There were 37,114,575 votes cast for President in the battleground States in 2012, while there were 36,747,235 votes cast for President in those States back in 2008. The Obama campaign did an excellent job in the battleground States last election in getting their base out to vote to re-elect Obama for President.
