Good evening ldsfaqs, I have a question:

How are you defining 'pornography'?

If one is viewing pictures of naked shoulders or midriff, is that pornography?

Are women on a beach wearing bikini's considered pornographic?

Is the Venus Di Milo pornography?

(well, several questions then)

Recently the American Family Association attempted a boycott of Fifty Shades of Grey. The American Family Association is headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi.

From the Clarion-Ledger:

Fandango calculated pre-ticket sales for the movie and compared that to each state's average to determine which state seems the most eager to watch the film. The No. 1 state? Mississippi, nearly four times its average for pre-show ticket sales. And the first city to sellout a theater in Mississippi? Tupelo, where the AFA office is located.

To be fair, it's also possible that a higher percentage of Mississippians are buying their ticket on line because they don't want to be seen in line.

Masturbation is not "bad for you." In fact, I am certain that there are many positives to taking things into your own hands.

From religioustolerance.org:

Does masturbation necessarily involve feelings of lust?

A person who is masturbating frequently fantasizes about a person of the appropriate sex. However, they can often find an alternative focus. For example, they could concentrate on their body's physiological responses, on an impending orgasm, or on some other thought not involving a human sexual object.

So, masturbation does not necessarily include lustful thoughts, and thus cannot always be interpreted as adultery, even by the most conservative Christians.

It's not really hard (intended) to imagine that spending an average of 3 hours a day watching porn and masturbating would perhaps cause some dysfunction. You know, just like eating a box of Twinkies per day can be damaging.

I would imagine that this activity is sometimes coupled with poor eating habits, excessive drinking, drug abuse and other bad habits that can lead to sexual dysfunction, as well.

If a man or woman finds that they are no longer able to get aroused by a real life human they should step away from the computer, stop self-servicing and consider seeing a doctor. From what I have heard, though, once you stop the use of porn and masturbating you will soon be able to resume normal sexual function with your real life partner.

It doesn't mean that it is evil. Just like eating a donut is not evil.

Oh, and I do think that porn is not healthy for children, in any quantity. Their brains are not fully developed and they also cannot put things into context because they lack experience.

That was a good interview. Notice the language that is used by a scientist when telling people the potential dangers of doing something versus the language used by the LDS church when telling people not to do something. Very different.

Classic liberal lying.....

1. Not everyone in so-called conservative states are conservative Kevin G.

2. Take Utah for example. Online is basically the ONLY place porn users can get access to porn, which let's get real, most aren't Mormon, especially active ones.
Other states, more liberal states, you go to your local corner market, and Porn is sold there, even some in the open right on the magazine shelf (though yes usually in a plastic wrapper).

What you've done Kevin G. is a classic strawman. You use a little truth to LIE.... as always.
