Fewer than deniers have made idiotic claims about global warming. Orders of magnitude fewer.

Frankly I hope the global warmers have a great day w govt subsidies in the next FEW (3-5) years. Truth is those of us who can afford to put big bucks from our portfolios into taxpayer subsidized investments get the biggest free ride on public fear and ignorance. I will make out huge on the backs of those who have no knowledge nor where-with-all to support their own families. Bring on the global warming subsidies!! CHA-CHING!

The expected windfall from subsidies in those investments is built into the price at the point you buy them. You're better off buying a Vanguard mutual fund. Work harder at being a pretend wealthy person.

Oh. You're going to be a venture capitalist in green tech companies in order to capture government subsidies. Yep, that's guaranteed to rain money from the sky. You'll be owning equity in the future of energy in no time. I can't see any downside when compared against other investment opportunities there. This why every investor is throwing as much money as they can at it. While wearing a top hat and monocle no doubt.

Trying to have a discussion with you about private equity, leveraged fundings, capital markets or anything to do with putting capital at risk would be like you asking Dan Peterson on how to train for a double century.
