Painted, and added hardware.
Did you use a paint sprayer? I know many people paint by hand, but I'm interested in knowing if you used a sprayer and if you thought that part was effective and fun?
We have a sprayer but it's only been used on the exterior of the house and not by me. Jersey Boy also knows how to do a professional spray paint job on cars, he's really good at it! Did a whole Corvette! Pick up truck, little jeep, etc. He's good at body work and restoration!

Can't open the link, but it's probably because of the rain yesterday (our internet tends to be temperamental after it rains). I'll try again a bit later.
When my dad was a Brakeman (before he became a Locomotive Engineer) he used to bring binoculars with him on the train. He would take my friends and I out on the train access roads to petroglyphs he was able to spot from the train. This was before 9/11 though, so I don't think we would be able to get anywhere near those train access roads nowadays without Railroad police swarming us.
For a while, my dad was quite the student of glyphs and their likely meanings. Sometimes he was able to use glyphs to find even more in the surrounding area.
Even out in those remote areas, there would be glyphs that had been vandalized. One day, photography like yours may be our only link to that part of our Nation's history.
Something strange going on. It opens just fine on my desktop, but won't open on my tablet. Maybe some kind IT pro on this board can give me some hints.
Meanwhile, here's a couple of my favorites: I love this one because there is so much going on. Dancers with arms linked on top of some sort of plants (one a woman) connected to a bighorn sheep.
I call this "Spiderman". On his right, he is holding what looks like a live bird. A little lower, he is holding what looks like a dead bird. What does it all mean?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Mostly used sponge brushes.
Now that you mention using a sprayer though... I'm going to have to look into it. I know my dad has one that he has used to paint their old house.

Whoa... that is incredible.
Don't know why, but it kind of reminds me of the "batwoman" glyph in Redrock Canyon.
(First is a recreated picture at the visitor center. The link is a picture of the actual thing.)

Check this out, Steuss. This blogger just used a new sprayer on kitchen cabinets. She shows both hand painted and sprayer pics on the page. Same color, same paint product. I think it depends what your vision and style is, but the sprayer looks really good to me!
^Topwater gurgler for Texas redfish. Haven't tied much of the smaller trout stuff since I moved south. But I used to tie most of my flies when I was guiding.
