But because it's black on black it will be rationalized as a teachable moment.

What a turd. Thank goodness it was just water, and not hot coffeee.
I had a regular come through the food line a few weeks ago that had a cut and large bump on his head, with some Scotch tape over the cut. He said a group of teens had run up on him, and one of them hit him in the head with what he thought was a pipe, or bat.
It's so easy to dehumanize the "least of these." It was only a few months ago that the homeless man in Boston was beaten, and urinated on. I think it was just last week that two SF off-duty fire-fighters were arrested for attacking a homeless man.
Like most things, this will probably make the rounds on social media, there will be some who (rightly) express outrage, and then nothing will ultimately change as we await the next story.
