Bill and Monica would most definitely disagree. But what would they know about Hilary and her performance!?!?!

College campuses have become a flash point for treating the accused without respect for due process principles. Clinton's tweet doesn't endorse that though. Someone whose public opinions are so thoroughly calculated wouldn't do that. Clinton is talking about the importance of victims, survivors, feeling heard and believed. That is true. This manages to play to the feelings of those who would ignore the rights of the accused while saying something inoffensively true.
Breitbart, as always, can't be more ridiculous in where it goes with it.
EA still doesn't comprehend "pandering for votes/dollars" while ignoring "the pig in your own house"!! While EA arguments lack, and we can't hold that against EA, EA remains ignorant to the obvious!! After the last post I honestly don't know, now, if EA is male or female!!

So say the 88 professors at Duke didn't come out with a statement condemning the Lacrosse players and the Lacrosse season wasn't cancelled until due process had taken place. What if District attorney Mike Nifong didn't file false criminal charges to gain favor with the black community in the upcoming election, charges which ended up costing some of the lacrosse players over $1 million in attorneys fees to prove their innocence. Would accuser Crystal Mangum and her spokesmen Al Sharpton have felt like they were heard and believed?
I'd also add that it is clear Ajax doesn't care at all about the rights of the accused if the accusation is terrorism.
How many accused terrorists lose $1 million in attorneys fees proving their innocence? How many terrorists have been falsely accused and had their reputation tarnished in the media? How many have been expelled from their university and later found not guilty?

There are people who paid with their
lives for being falsely accused of terrorism ajax. Presumably dead people can't go to a university. I haven't checked on Yale's ghost policy, but I suspect it is strict. There are people who have been falsely accused, had their reputations destroyed in the media, and had their freedoms completely stripped of them with no end in sight due to being falsely accused of being terrorists. You cheered (and presumably continue to cheer) this on.
You are aware that a bunch of people held indefinitely at Guantanamo, routinely called the worst of thew worst terrorists no less, were actually innocent, right? But even if you weren't, you definitely are aware that those people did not receive meaningful due process and were treated as if guilty in the eyes of the public. Almost no one there was ever even charged with a crime. That's true at similar sites the US maintains.

Were any of these people held at Guantanamo US citizens?

Why does it matter? You might say that they are therefore not legally entitled to due process rights. But that's a red herring in this context, because no one's legal due process rights are being violated through campus sexual assault hearings. No one is legally entitled to attend Columbia. This is about you either respecting the principle of the accused having rights (such as not being presumed guilty) or not. So far, you've implied that having to fund your legal defense or switch colleges is a fate worse than indefinite detention and torture in a max security prison. Now we've gone from it being wrong to assume people who are accused of things are guilty to it being wrong to assume Americans, and only Americans, are guilty when accused. Because why?
P.S. Yes.

So you think sexual assault should be believed without doing a criminal investigation? I know you would apply this to Republicans but would you also strip the right of due process from Democrats like President Clinton or African American athletes as well?
By all means do a fair and extensive investigation into allegations of any criminal activity. Any victim should be given all the professional legal, medical, and psychological support they need. I'm not a member of any political party, but lean Green.

If it comes down between mainly Hillary and Trump, then I will vote for a third Party candidate. I will then either vote for Gay Johnson or the Green Party candidate.

It just occurred to me that the accused in the Columbia mattress case is not an American. So does that mean it was fair to railroad him in public?
