Tomorrow I'm making safe pies: pumpkin and banana cream.

Cheers!

Safe pies? Does that mean there's such a thing as 'Dangerous Pies'? I SO want a dangerous pie.

...measured in terms of risk. These pies are low risk and chances are, everyone will like one of them. I have some picky dessert'ers in my midst.

I'll use some vodka for the crust and then put all my liquor bottles in the garage where they won't be noticed by grandma and grandpa.

Today I give thanks for the TRUTH

The truth about the church foisted upon me by my parents and community.

The truth which set me free to lift the dogmatic bonds of a corporation from my children, thus enriching their lives.

I am also thankful for the defenders who frequent this board. Thanks for being there when I want to make fun of the mo'yopic world that the truth set me free from.

Happy bird day. Drink up!

Thanks Z! I was wondering about that, too. I've heard of pie safes (pricy antiques), but not safe pies. I thought maybe there was a connection.

Does grandma and grandpa know they are getting a little shot of vodka for dessert?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I'd suggest cutting out the middle man and just hand them the bottle.

We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')
