When you misspell a word while typing a post, a little red line appears under the word. Right-click on the word, and it gives you an alternative correct spelling. It's just lazy not to correct your spelling. Correct spelling is not elitist. The little red line is an egalitarian stop sign for people of any shape, color, size, sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs.

Yes, many computers, smart phones, tablets, etc. offer such grammatical nuances...all seemingly ignorant to the user's subtle or overt characteristics....but the little red squiggly line doth not a dictator make (note the red squiggly line under your moniker when it appears in the quote bracket, but alas no egalitarian remedy comes to its illness...it sits without reconciliation - defiant of the very system which created it).

Hey, all I did was point out that ldsfaqs misspelled uter next to the word stupidity. I did not point out any of his grammatical errors with respect to apostrophes. If I wanted to be a grammar elitist, ldsfaq's posts would serve as an incredibly target rich environment.

The little red line is a spelling tool, not a grammar tool. It is not elitist. Anyone can use it, even ldsfaqs.

And again, the phrase 'uter stupidity' was used with respect to the act of Mark Zuckerberg naming his daughter Max. It was the purpose of my post to question ldsfaq's belief that naming your daughter Max makes you guilty of 'uter stupidity.'

So would you care to defend the thesis that Mark Zuckerberg exhibits 'uter stupidity ' in the act of naming his GIRL baby Max, we can return to the argument at hand, free of distractions to the less disciplined mind.
