Trump did say Jersey City, but that could have simply been a mistake, because there were only a few groups in Jersey City apparently of Muslims who cherred 9/11 (that can be found so far).

Hey, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop making my faith community look like such bigoted and bumbling idiots.

LOL I'm an expert at finding the truth of everything.....

Grandiosity. Inflated view of oneself. That's a feature of NPD.

Like the splitting and projection I mentioned earlier.

Or perhaps BPD.

But I'm no shrink.

Classic projection. It's a feature of NPD, BPD and depression. Perhaps other mental illnesses and personality disorders.

Many of you have admitted over and over again, that you refuse to watch, read, etc. etc. my research, videos, etc..

Your so-called research is based on non-credible sources.

Me, I don't do that.... I study ALL.... all sides in depth. It's exactly why I know man made global warming is a scam. I've studied the sides in depth.

No, you've watched videos and surfed the net in depth.

I love nature, intimately, I meditate in it.

Get out of the house and WALK in it. If you love nature, be a part of it. Get out in it, use it for what it was made for. Preserve and protect it. I taught environmental studies to young children for30+ years.

What are you doing to make a difference? Watching youtube?

I have no interest in pollution or the world ending. But, I'm not going to support a lie either.

Watching youtube videos for hours on end so you can post them on a message board to people who know better than you, isn't supporting anything.

So, anyone with a brain and morality can see who's interested in actually "learning" and the actual truth.

That's nice. How would you know?

I wouldn't worry, Mak. I don't think anyone really takes this guy as representative of Mormonism, let alone its best possibilities. That said, I appreciate that you stick around this place: it has its moments. When its good, its good, when it sucks it really sucks.

Jersey Girl wrote:Lee,

Here's a Jersey Girl talking to you straight up. People here aren't rejecting what you say because they're evil, stupid or ignorant. The are rejecting what you say because we can all punch holes in your reasoning because it's not sound. You make a post, such as this about Trump or 9/11, and people go about the business of refuting what you say. Even when you are confronted by folks who live in or near the site of 9/11 and were directly impacted by it, or Paterson or Jersey City or what have you, know the area, were there that day...you hold on to your "turf" like you're holding on to your dick and won't let go for fear that little thing is going to fall off.

You said you were a good teacher. No, you're not, Lee. On this thread you are surrounded by teachers from an early childhood professional of 30 years who is well schooled child development and knows just enough about psychology to get me in trouble or point someone to resources, all the way up to college professors who hold doctorates. Know how I know you're not a good teacher?

You never ask questions.

Every single teacher I've ever come in contact with is a learner, regardless of their degree of education. A teacher is a learner.

Learning and teaching should not stand on opposite banks and just watch the river flow by; instead, they should embark together on a journey down the water. Through an active, reciprocal exchange, teaching can strengthen learning how to learn. ~ Loris Malaguzzi

Malaguzzi is one of my guru's. Read that quote 500 times until it sinks in.

You learn to teach, you teach to learn. You don't understand what that means, Lee.

You sit and watch youtube videos as your primary resource for learning. You put up a link for us to watch and tell us exactly what we are to think about it and what it demonstrates and the moment we begin to disagree with you, you proceed to name call and devalue us.

You never ask questions and you never ask us what we think.

A good teacher who is a good learner, asks questions, makes inquiry. That's how we learn. You are surrounded by invaluable human educational resources on this forum from a variety of disciplines, subjects, walks of life, etc. and instead of using them as resources, you use them for your personal punching bags.

You know how you say you've been observing people since you were 7 years old and that's how you know about people?

You're wrong.

What you missed was getting to know the people you were observing, asking them questions, finding out about them. How do I know that you never connected with them? Because you don't make any attempt at all to connect with the posters on this forum. You've got all of us shoved into the same box and the label says: evil, lying, liberals.

Because we disagree with you.

Teachers don't label people, Lee. Once you've slapped the label on, you've written the other guy off. Teachers don't write people off. We believe that everyone has potential, the ability to grow and develop, and that everyone has something to teach us.

Not much to add here. That faqs comes back with yet another iteration of "nyah nyah" is not surprising though. It's literally all he's got. He can only cling to his reactive identity formation because to drop it would mean looking into the mirror.

Anyway:

One anecdote that had a tremendous impact on me was in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The protagonist is a teacher who asks his college class to write an essay on the subject What is creativity in thought and action?

After a long weekend, the class comes back with long and puzzled faces. The class had struggled mightily with the question. We don't know, they said, what is the answer?

The Teacher replies that he didn't really know, he was trying to find the answer.

The class was furious. You didn't know? How dare you ask a question to which you didn't know the answer?

And that says something about the way a lot of people expect to find knowledge. Actually having to find the answer is a goddamn imposition.

Anyway, the phrase 'you teach to learn' made me think of that. A professor who went on a journey of exploration with his class, and they were really pissed about it.

LOL.... You people are funny.

YOU all personally attack a person over and over again, and so to prove you wrong they demonstrate various facts and history of themselves, and THEN you bigots try to claim he's being "grandious" NPD, blah blah blah. LOL

You all are like my ex-wife.
She would engage in her emotional and spiritual abuse sessions with me, and I would try to explain what was actually happening, the truth of things, yet she didn't care, didn't want to listen, just wanted to attack and degrade.

Turns out I had a legit health reason why I didn't "work three jobs", why I was tired all the time, etc.
Of course, I tried to correct it many times, but she didn't care and wasn't interested in helping or working with me to do so when I DID have the strength to correct it.

So.... bottom line. It's truly bigoted and evil people that belittle a person in various ways, making claims of them, and then when they have the balls to demonstrate the facts and truth about themselves, which debunk the false claims against them, that person is STILL the one in the wrong, NPD, mentally disabled, blah blah blah. Ya..... It's NEVER the Liberal anti-mormon that's the actual creators and doers of the evil....
Again, you people are the true liars, bigots, abuses, etc. as I show over and over again with liberal and anti-mormon ideology.
You all forget, I only post here because of the evil you are and do...... Do no evil, and we could actually be friends even though having different views.

Here's a classic example.....

You all over and over called me a liar that I wasn't a Marine, I finally prove it (like 3 times over the years on this forum) and then I become a "bragart" NPD, blah blah blah for simply proving you people as the liars and bigots you are.
