Trump is simply saying what the uneducated, Fox watching Republican base is thinking.
It's kind of like a furthering of when they dropped the ball on the civil rights issue, and the Democrats went from being the party of slavery the party of equality.

The snail in our fish tank died the other day, so we need a new one. They're apparently really great for your tank, because they mosey along the bottom and eat up a lot of the waste, keeping it relatively clean.
We're naming this next one Trump. I can't think of a more effective bottom feeder.

Trump is a rodeo clown. Smart, politically savvy, working the bulls and crowds to keep their minds off of what's really happening. He scares me, but not as much as Rafael "Ted" Cruz. Some polls are putting him well ahead of Trump in Iowa, and gaining in New Hampshire.
