I'm passionate about it all now, well educated and trained also. Like everyone, never felt the "need" to before. Which is why there are so few civilian shooters stopping an active shooter.

Further, people who want to carry guns are people who are among the mentally prepared for it, likely have been around guns for years, have experience firing various guns, have a legit need to protect themselves even if new to guns they are mentally prepared for it, on and on and on.

I'm the actual "good guy with a gun" in REAL LIFE..... A normal person, who at times in life that has experience with firearms, and then feels like carrying, and then does. I am most certainly prepared for a shooting situation.
