by the way, I should mention I've never actually "carried" a firearm yet for personal carry. But, I finally will be soon once I'm healthy.
I'm passionate about it all now, well educated and trained also. Like everyone, never felt the "need" to before. Which is why there are so few civilian shooters stopping an active shooter.

Kevin, read more carefully.....

There is no "myth" that ONLY a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun, it's a STRAWMAN you liberals have created, misrepresenting our point.
All he did was simply state the stats that only about 5% of active shooting situtations (which is not all gun activity, you need to read the report) involve someone using a gun to stop another shooter.

And....?

We know very well not very many people carry guns these days, and thus 5% is about right that stop active shooting situations.
The POINT we are in fact making, is all the shootings for which a gun "isn't" there and if it was there, it would have made a difference, a.k.a. less people dead and hurt.
