Linda Stasi is right, Thalasinos was clearly a bigot. But as Stasi also made clear, that does not excuse what those terrorists did, though it may help explain their first choice of target for their terrorism. Thalasinos' extreme and outspoken hatred of Muslims might also have played a part in the radicalization of Syed Farook. Hatred tends to beget more hatred. That's a big part of what makes bigotry so perniciously evil.
