I'm contributing..... this is a discussion forum. People post threads to discuss things.
Just because you don't like what I say doesn't change the fact.

You people on the other hand like I've said only contribute some 5% of the time (with some personal attacks often thrown in), while ONLY personally attacking like you did about some 95% of the time. Again, why are you on a dicussion forum if you don't want to discuss and argue issues?
Me in contrast, 99.9% of the time, I post information and argument (with some personal attacks thrown in), and NEVER ONLY post a personal attack on someone all by itself (unless in direct response to such an attack).

So again, if you don't want to "discuss".... then shut up. Derailing threads is not proper forum etiquette.

Not an attack? I am not interested in attacking you. I do not agree with any of these little opinion pieces. Is there something to discuss?

Change must be both in individuals and in social structures not just one or the other.
I am aware of painful truths. People can be bad to others when poor or rich. There are people both poor and rich who learn to be good to others..

How do I judge America? You have to put blinders on not to realize it is a mixed bag. There are wonderful things in America. There have been horrible things in America. You have to be a child to be too young not to accept the responsibility of thinking of the reality of both.

Does it do good? I have followed American politics for enough decades to know that all sides seek to find policy with does good. All sides are also sometimes guilty of falling back into the laziness of accepting just what feels good.

As a liberal I believe in separation of powers, limited government. It does however need to be big enough to decide certain conflicts such as do we have slavery or not.
