Siding with Megyn Kelly

Millions Resent Being Put in Horrible Position of Siding with Megyn Kelly.

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Millions of Americans are expressing their resentment and outrage at being put in the appalling position of siding with the Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, a state of affairs that many are calling “intolerable.”

“Never in a million years did I envision a situation where I would be on the same side as Megyn Kelly,” Tracy Klugian, of Butte, Montana, said. “Now that I find myself in just such a situation, let me say this: it’s horrible. Truly horrible.”

“Putting people through the ordeal of siding with Megyn Kelly could be the worst thing Donald Trump has done in this campaign,” Jervis Kentwell, of Norwalk, Connecticut, said. “I know he thinks he’s invulnerable or whatever, but it’s hard to see him recovering from this.”

Harland Dorrinson, a psychologist from Akron, Ohio, has created an online community for people who are suffering from the emotional trauma of momentarily siding with Megyn Kelly.

“People who have despised Megyn Kelly for years are experiencing a sudden loss of identity and a feeling of emptiness,” he said. “They’re complaining of persistent headaches and nausea. There is a lot of hurt out there.”

Carol Foyler, of Tacoma, Washington, worries about the “long-term implications” of being forced to side with Megyn Kelly. “Is there some scenario where I might be forced to side with Bill O’Reilly, or Hannity?” she asked. “It’s a goddam slippery slope.”

If this wasn't so serious I'd be tempted to laugh. Right now the biggest bully in the room is Donald Trump, and he's bullying a big bully Roger Ailes.

I felt the same way when Hillary Clinton said she was the only candidate not looking to raise middle class taxes in the Democratic debate.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I along with many conservatives were appauled by Megyn Kelly's acting like a liberal in relation to her questions at the original debate.

Part of the reason it was so disappointing is that she's known to be fair, reasonable, and one of the best reporters on Fox. So, it was even more disappointing. Act like a duck, get called a duck.

Neither Bernie nor Hilary have presented a detailed method to provide universal health care. Bernie has proposed raising taxes. on all except the very poor. The other side of the ledger is that for the vast majority of Americans the reduced cost of health care, in the form of deductibles, co-pays, and exclusions, will more than offset any increases in taxes. Hilary has proposed small incremental changes to the already existing systems of the ACA, private health insurance care, medicare, medicaid, VA, Indian Health Service, and the like.

Can you think of a time when the left and right were so far apart? How disgusted will you be to start saying President Trump? I couldn't stomach President Sanders, an admitted socialist. I think this country needs a divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.

In My Never To Be Humble Opinion. The Democrats have moved to the right, and the Reps have moved into Cuckcooland. Not disgusted. If it weren't so serious I'd be laughing my head off. Now Trump is admitting his Great Wall of America is just to motivate his base. That's Democratic Socialist think Sweden not Cuba. Personally; I lean towards the Green Party, but unfortunately even there are things there I can't totally agree with.

I would hate to see the US break up. Together, despite our many political differences, we are a stronger nation.

I guess in faqs' world, asking a person about the actual things they've said is "acting like a liberal." I suppose that true. A true Republican would make something up.

The Democrats have moved to the right

Bill Clinton was more of a centrist. Obama was an uncompromising liberal. Bernie Sanders is beyond cuckoo and he enjoys a very large support base. A socialist winning the Democratic nomination would have been unimaginable as little as 20 years ago. The Democrats have moved left. The Republican move to the right is due to the realization that candidates who compromise on tax increases and amnesty leads to results like we have now.

I would hate to see the US break up. Together, despite our many political differences, we are a stronger nation.

In what way? The military is all I can think of. And the left doesn't seem to value military spending or US military leadership in the world. In a world without the threat of the Soviet Union, it seems like a loose confederation of states would be preferable. Secession would be ideal for both red and blue states.
