For some reason, Cruz consistently reminds me of Greg Stillson, the maniacal politician in Stephen King's The Dead Zone. Maybe it's the fact that I don't think Cruz cares about the country anywhere near as much as his own ambition.

Here's what's weird for me; of the six candidates left on the GOP side, Bush seems the most normal from my perspective (well, Kasich seems fairly normal too). Four years ago, I'd have called them conservative lunatics. When the field is so nutty that a Bush looks the most competent/reasonable... well, that's saying something.

It truly fascinates me how warped the liberal brain is.

Cruz's values, character, etc. is the kind of person, ideology etc. that made America the Greatest, Freest, Wealthiest individually and collectively country to ever be on this planet.
In contrast, liberal values are the failure all through history, and in nearly every country the more they are embraced.

So, it's astounding to me how the liberal can actually somehow think that a man that matches the values, character, ideology and constitutional principles, the values that made America great for the last 300 years, would actually "ruin" America. It's the other way around buddy!

What's fascinating is how blithely you can ignore American/world history, let alone current events. Sorry dude; history is on my side, not yours.

Why don't you point out some "details" of what I said is false instead of just rambling?
The more socialist/communist a country is, the more poor and less free it is. That's a fact.
The Right are the values that founded this country, based in Liberty and the rule of Law, and Capitalism, a.k.a. Libertarianism, Conservatism, and the Free Market.

So, it seems it's you who don't study history and know current country's. Most current country's in various degrees are more socialist and communist. Depending on their degree of have embraced such principles, it's directly correlated to the success and prosperity of those country's. Take EU country's, more socialist but still having a large degree of "right" values and capitalism, they are thus not to poor and still relatively successful, yet none as overall as great as America. As just an example, America has more Millionaires than all country's combined (though if I remember something is happening with China), and the wealth is spread out in America among all classes than anywhere else in the world. Then you take the more socialist and thus communist a country becomes and you have something like Russia, with far more poor and lower classes. Then when a country is near total Leftist it becomes fascist, and so you have country's like Venezuela or more so North Korea.

In contrast, when a country become more on the Right, Conservative and Libertarian and Capitalist, the country and people prospers. Take for example South Korea.... Quality of life starts to improve for all.

So, I understand things well..... Now tell me why your view is superior? Tell me how all these other country's out there are superior to America, ones that have more government, more handouts, etc.? Tell me how that since America has been becoming less free, with more government, more entitlements, etc. thus becoming more socialist, that somehow it's been becoming "better" instead of worse as it actually has been?

Right now, this country's economy is based on capitalistic, rugged individualism (well, for everyone not in the top 1% - for the top earners, it's hard core socialism) that you claim is the best economic model. Do you consider our economy today to be booming?

I read in the last year or so that Canada's middle class has eclipsed the US's in terms of size per capita. What the heck are those socialists doing to overcome their communist ways, since (according to you) capitalism is so superior?

The US economy has not been static for the last 300 years. At times, there were more social programs than at others. The tax rate for the wealthiest people has fluctuated. The best economic times in the last century were when the tax rate was high. That's history. The fact that you can claim the opposite shows your ideology is a major impediment to your ability to recognize reality.
