Obama's presidency has been a mixed bag, and he's disappointed me in several areas, but he's never given me a reason to hate him so emphatically. I still like him, despite my disappointments. Racism almost certainly plays a component in the extreme antipathy that Obama enjoys on the right. That doesn't mean it reduces into something as simple as dislike of Obama = racism, but the fervor and depth of dislike is influenced by racism and there is good data backing that up. Hell, racial dog-whistles abound in right-wing media towards Obama for a reason.

Bush is his closest match on those issues. He hasn't been extreme on anything you purport to care about and analogs can be readily found in other administrations, some of which are Republican. One would think your dislike wouldn't be so intense if it was policy driven.
