He hasn't been extreme on anything you purport to care about

He's the product of tutoring from Saul Alinsky, Bernadine Dorn, Bill Ayers, and Jeremiah Wright. His spending and debt has been extreme. His illegal unconstitutional executive amnesty was extreme. I'm just glad this is the last year of Obama.

Obama could be personally mentored by the ghost of Karl Marx and it doesn't strictly matter when we have an actual record to go on. These vaguely conspiratorial associations that come up in the far right aside, Bill Ayers did a pretty awful job mentoring Obama if his goal was to make Obama a radical leftist.

So that leaves you will two substantive criticisms that make Obama the worst president ever. First, we have spending levels under Obama. This is an odd criticism insofar as Obama has spent the majority of his presidency under a Republican dominated legislature that has successfully thwarted Obama's spending plans on most things. If Obama is too spendy, you'd think the Republican Congress would be getting blame on that one just the same. But, as it turns out, the Obama admin's spending increases are right in line with previous administrations. They're actually substantially slower, but that's misleading since Obama entered office with a major spike in spending levels to come down from.

Here's a graph on federal outlays as a % of GDP.

There's nothing in the Obama years that suggests a radical departure from the past. There's a spike at the beginning of his presidency that is caused by the Bush Admin's TARP program. This is followed by a slower come-down as economic recovery caused the GDP to rebound and the stimulus package temporarily inflated federal spending. But overall, the numbers are pretty much in line with historical spending trends. If this is your main issue to judge presidents by, then Clinton should look like one of the greatest presidents ever by that measure. I think that misunderstands how to attribute these changes, but it's your argument.

Obama's action on immigration enforcement is relatively mild compared to previous immigrant policies that Republicans have advocated and successfully passed. If the issue is with executive action, he's attempting to deemphasize enforcement against a group of illegal immigrants who mostly are non-criminal parents of Americans. This is an argument about executive prosecutor discretion. It's gone nowhere thus far, but it isn't terribly far off previous presidential actions on the subject. I know immigration policy is your main concern, but this is so obscenely far from the worst examples of presidential behavior that it is totally amazing that you highlight this as your example of why Obama is the worst ever. Heck, Obama's admin has deported more illegals than any president ever and by per capita measures is still rates as very high in deportations. One would think you'd like that.

Obama maintains a private kill list for US citizens, and this is what you go with? Remember that Andrew Jackson marched thousands of Cherokee from their land, many to their death, in defiance of both the American legal system and basic human rights? Obama's immigration policy is worse than that?
