There's a blast from the past. Speaking of, have you seen the Canadian Chaplain elsewhere on the net?
We can buy it here. The ingredients' list begins with: - maple sugar 4%
The same rate as meat in dog food...
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco - To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

You get told the percentage of ingredients? All we get is a list we're told is supposedly in order of greatest to least. To protect proprietary recipes, we'll even get such great phrases as, "May contain one or more of the following ingredients..."
What does that even mean? "May contain"? It depends on the batch? One of them (the actual maple syrup) is just shown as a false flag to get us to buy it but it's never actually used in the product, ever? What?!

You've got it.
"May contain" may mean anything... Cardinally, I hate all advertisement. All.
There are keywords, the average stupid don't understand it then buys that crap. My pet one: "formula".
The formula of the [crap] produces this or that. The peon doesn't know the word... The formula, formulae (an expression of the contents of a chemical compound search for another def...) doesn't produce anything. It is a mere description.
------------------- There is a special H. word: parasztvakítás = dazzling/flaring/glaring of peasants. The def of any ad.

Since the closing of Beliefnet, I haven't seen the names Kebecer or MecduKebec on any forums. However, prior to that, I remember a poster with another name who might have been Kebecer on another forum. Wherever he posts I wish him the best.

As do I. He brought a valuable perspective I appreciated and learned from. If you cross paths send my regards.

I'm still waiting for the answer to this... Oh, wait.
I'll tell you the answer....soon.
“When we are confronted with evidence that challenges our deeply held beliefs we are more likely to reframe the evidence than we are to alter our beliefs. We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')

OK, but after two or three days (maybe a week), I'm giving up. The suspense is killing me.
I've published the answer in one of the threads somewhere on the board.
