Did You Know Lindsey Graham Could Be Funny?
I had no idea Graham could be this amusing. I thought he got off a couple good ones. And I'm left with the impression he's farther outside the GOP bubble/religion than most.
I actually watched him stump a few months ago, and he's not a bad speaker at all. I might even have been tempted to vote for him had he not mentioned "the need to rebuild our military" (every time I hear one of the GOP idiots say something like that, I want to kick my TV). But he did talk about how climate change was real, so he's not completely insane. That was probably why he polled so poorly.

He was one of the more rational ones. But a long ways from what an actual rational candidate sounds like. He helped push us to conduct two wars on the cheap. Afghanistan was supposed to have been over when we pulled out to invade Iraq, that was supposed to be over in a matter or days to a few weeks. God only knows what a military, the relative size we had in WW2, would have done with Neocons in charge.

He's also a big fan of amnesty for illegal immigrants so you might like that as well. That's why we call him Lindsey Grahamnesty on talk radio.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

We are not going to ever be able to deport or get over twelve million illegal immigrants to self-deport out of the country. Eventually, both houses of Congress are going to have to pass some type of 'amnesty' legislation with the President signing it into law.
If Trump ends up getting the GOP nomination (and there is a pretty good chance now that he will), I believe that one of the first things he will do is soften his strong anti-illegal immigration message a bit and come out with a Rubio and/or Jeb type immigration plan.
Donald Trump on Monday said Mitt Romney’s “maniacal” and “crazy” policy of “self-deportation,” alienated Asian and Hispanic voters and helped cost him the election.
“He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal,” Trump told the conservative website NewsMax. “It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote. He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”

Do you think the border will ever be enforced?

I do believe so.

This is going to sound really weird, but in my defense, I talked to a friend about this and she agreed: There's a hermaphrodite quality to Lindsay Graham. Funny, I just googled 'Lindsey Graham Hermaphrodite' and I got a ton of hits so I guess I'm not alone.
But it was interesting to see him, especially in a situation where you could tell he relaxed enough to say 'the hell with it'. For example, I could never see Hillary Clinton being that loose in public. Or Donald Trump, for that matter.
And while he was being funny, I still think he is very disturbed about what is going on in his party.

His relationship with McCain does seem somewhat fawning, in my opinion.

Those two things are related. He was funny largely because he was expressing real anxiety about the state of his party. The best comedy is rooted in real emotion.

Another amnesty wouldn't bother me if it meant we were going to start enforcing the border. Unfortunately history doesn't bear that out. I think we'll see western hemisphere democratic socialism. There's just not enough people who want to have a border voting.

Good to see you state that.
