I'm neither.

I'm not either, but I like to speculate on what the parties' strategies are.

I agree with you; I don't really identify with either party either. I'm currently registered Dem only to vote for Bernie, but I'll be switching back to Independent after the primary. The Dem party annoys me just as much as the GOP; in some ways, it annoys me more.

And both parties are at all time lows for people identifying with them, while independents have grown. The question is, if the GOP destroys itself, what viable thing could take its place? Independents are all over the place. And establishment Republicans are finding out their traditional platform isn't as attractive/popular as they thought all this time, otherwise right-leaning voters wouldn't be gravitating toward pro-PP, pro-single payer healthcare, anti-war candidate Donald Drumpf.

That's why Donald Trump is going to win this general election. It's why ideological conservatives are passing up on Cruz and voting for Trump.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I don't see too much evidence that ideological conservatives are passing up on Cruz and voting for Trump. Cruz did win Texas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma is the most conservative State in the country.

Unless Hillary Clinton gets indicted or ends up dying from coughing too much, she is going to defeat Trump in the general election.

Brackite most conservatives believe Trump has a better shot in the general election than Ted Cruz. Trump wants to keep socialist security and other programs that swing voters like.

Apparently, most conservatives don't believe that anymore. Senator Cruz just recently won Kansas, which is more evidence against that ideological conservatives are passing up on Cruz and voting for Trump.

Well I can't say I'm unhappy about being wrong. Go Ted. I just cast my ballot for him 15 minutes ago.

I still don't see how Ted is going to win. It seems like he only wins when nonRepublicans are excluded from voting. I still think Trump has a better chance in the general election, in spite of Ted taking Kansas.

Trump is certainly not my enemy though. I'd be happy to see him win as well.

You'd be happy with any idiot racist in office. That tends to make other idiot racists happy.

Neither Trump nor Cruz can win the general election. You're living in a bubble.

Cruz consistently leads Clinton in polling. That suggests it is at least possible that he could win a general election.
