Obama did damage the Democratic Party because he was the only president in history that received fewer votes for his re-election in 2012. 2015 confirmed the people are disappointed.
If Hillary wins the presidency, she will likely lose in 2020. Supreme Court justices will retire after 2020, not after 2016. 2020 will be far more important than 2016.
Hillary is not a progressive, she will only do damage, and will make the Republicans stronger.
So it is better for the Republicans for have a short-term victory in 2016.
and Hillary is no different than a moderate Republican.
