Dude.
Get your crap together.
Get it all together. And put it in a backpack. All your crap. So it’s together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, you know, take it to the crap store and sell it, or put it in a crap museum, I don’t care what you do, you just gotta get it together.
Get your crap together.

Ldsfaqs is, I believe, is a prime example of those in the lower economic strata who have been duped by conservative, rhetorical BS and who ultimately stand to lose the most by the regressive policies they advocate.

Hilarious--if only it weren't so tragically true! And to think, I used to be a proud member of the Republican Party before it was hijacked by religious right fundamentalists, anti-science zealots and obscenely wealthy and avaricious, self-serving corporate interests. Sadly, many of these same interests have also had a lot of undue influence on some prominent Democrat politicians, perhaps even Obama, and probably Hillary Clinton. I wish Bernie Sanders manages to win the nomination instead of her. Then I would feel less like I was merely voting for the lesser of two evils. I would be strongly tempted to vote for him as a write-in candidate if I were not afraid that would help assure Trump winning the election. I can't think of anyone who has ever won a national election as a write-in candidate.

I've voted for a Republican a few times, if I felt they were the best candidate. But that was prior to 2000. I like Bernie better than Hilary, and Jill better than either as President. To the best of my knowledge no write-in candidate has ever won the Presidency.

I agree with everything you said here, except I don't see being able to vote for Hillary. If that means Trump wins, that's the DNC's fault, not mine. I went for the best guy for the job.

Either way, I will not attach my name to the inevitable nightmare. I will write in Bernie and likely vote Democrat down ticket.

Perhaps you have a good point there. A Trump presidency might not be as much of a nightmare if Democrats regain a majority in Congress. I am still holding out hope, though, that Bernie will win the nomination. Not only is he the better candidate in my opinion, according to public opinion polls of likely voters, he has a better chance than Hillary of beating any of the Republican candidates now running. Wouldn't it be remarkable and absolutely astounding if Hillary, realizing this, voluntarily stepped aside in favor of Bernie? Of course, if she were noble and self-effacing enough to do that, and set aside her own personal ambitions for the general good of the nation, she probably would show herself to have been a desirable choice after all.

Anyone running for President has to be terribly egocentric.

As I said, it would be absolutely astounding if that happened.

Yeah, it seems pretty clear to me now that members of the DNC (and those pulling hard for Hillary) live in a DNC bubble similar to, although no where near as big or impermeable as the GOP bubble. How can they possibly believe Hillary is more electable than Bernie? Bernie has the youth vote and independents, in addition to many democrats. Hillary just has Democrats. Hillary supporters are far more apt to rally around the eventual Democrat nominee than Bernie supporters are, because they vote Democrat reflexively. Many Bernie supporters are voting Bernie because they don't have to vote Hillary. Just on youth turnout alone, the advantage has to go to Bernie.
And that doesn't even consider Hillary's vs Bernie's likability and trust ratings.
Like I said before, if they pick Hillary, I hope they can live with their choice. If it's Trump/Clinton, I think we may see record low voter turnout in the general.
