I don't know. Their adoration of Romney goes a long way, and he absolutely despises Trump.
for what it's worth, one of my business partners is very active in his state's Republican leadership, and the inside buzz he is hearing is that it is very likely that Paul Ryan would get the nomination from a contested convention.
Personally, I would love to see Condoleezza Rice get the nomination. That would be epic.

The outside buzz is Paul Ryan just the same. It's not clear that Ryan would want that at this point.
If the Republicans were to nominate a general, I think the floor would explode in ecstasy and unite behind whoever that is. Trump's authoritarian brigade would love that and the rank and file who simply culturally identify with being as militaristic as possible would just the same.
I admit that I'm impressed by Utah Republicans rejecting Trump so thoroughly. However, they did vote for the smarmy theocrat. I suppose many of them got on board the Stop Drumpf strategy.
I'm more impressed by Utah Democrats. Nice job, people. If only it made a real difference in the Dem primary...
