First theres nothing that "works" about Communism. (be sure to watch the video at the bottom)
Second, they are vastly different systems as the article and video shows some of.
The two ideology's are not like Jet Kune Do where to be the best you choose what works best from anything and everything and/or system. As the video shows, Capitialism already has "socialist" aspects to it because there always will be those in need to help because of choice, or issues, and freedom, yet in capitalism there is the money to be more "social" and thus help those people, through some taxes and the charity of the people and business.

President Obama never said "There’s little difference between Communism and Capitalism." He didn't imply that in that either. At minute 2:40 of the video in your link, President Obama said, "The most successful societies, the most successful economies are ones that are rooted in a market based system." Do you disagree with him about that, ldsfaqs?

The article he linkes goes even further than that. It goes from Obama saying that socialism is A-Ok to Obama endorsing the death of 200 million people. Because being a socialist = being Ok with Stalinist purges.
