The US has been democratic and socialist for longer then you have been alive. I don't know of any democratic socialist country that does not have private ownership. Maybe you don't know what it means.

And we'll depend on them even more as the 2nd amendment is eroded away.


It's never been eroded. Maybe misunderstood. Although it should be obvious it is not talking about private citizens owning guns. Not that I am against that.

I think that Trump is going to have a hard time selling the idea that we need to 'Make America Great Again' during the general election when America's Economy is better now then it was back in 1980, 2008, and four years ago.
